Wild Hearts on Deck/Linux: Convert video file format, or you'll miss the ending cutscene (2026 version)

As of Jan 2026, you have to convert the format of video files on SteamDeck or on general Linux. This includes Proton-GE-10-28 and Valve's Proton. This applies to all of Steam, EA, and Epic versions.

If you can see the logos of KoeiTecmo and EA Original when you launch the game, then the problem is gone. Otherwise, do the following, or you'll miss the ending cutscene. (More precisely, the logo screen appears between the two screens with the loading gauge.)

Gamesir's controllers: L4/R4 buttons are often fake. Docs are cluttered.

EDIT: I posted this too at Reddit's r/gamesir. Have a look and you'll see Gamesir is incredibily untrustworthy.

Some Gamesir's gamepads allegde to have "L4/R4", but in fact, they are fake. They are back buttons that only work by mapping to other buttons. I have a Nova 2 Lite, and at least G7 SE (reddit post) and Kaleid / T4 Kaleid (Steam community post) are the same. I don't know about high class controllers.

Devil May Cry 4: Japanese version with Japanese voice exists at GOG

From the PC version of the Devil May Cry 4 (DMC4), the Japanese voice act is removed, right? Not exactly. There's a GOG Japanese version with Japanese voice.
